UPDATE: I never thought to put a pic of the papers from an appraisal I had done nearly three years ago, but it tells all the specs and shows diamond plotting. I had this done for insurance reasons etc.. the picture of this is at bottom of this page.. thanks! Cost me 50.00 for the appraisal and I will include it with the ring. Though you may want to get another appraisal as that one is nearly three years old. I was informed that the coloring grade on appraisal was estimated H-I because I opted to not have it taken off the mounting. When the ring was purchased it was sold as an H.

The ring band itself is yellow gold 14K with 5 prong head with v-tip at the point.
The shank measures 1.73mm in width and 1.10mm in thickness. Size 6 and weighs 1.80grams

I quickly relized you can't use flash, so I took in different lighting with no flash so you can see it well.


This ring has sat in a box for a few years, as I was going to
eventually have the diamond put into a pendant setting. But, I don't think
I will ever get around to doing so, and with the passing away of
our son, and high risk pregnancy then birth of our new baby, expenses have come up. The main issue
is that I want
to be able to get a few more things for our little guy who at 3 months is already almost 30 lbs.. So already
we need the bigger carseat as the smaller one is now useless, and a few more things and a whole new
wardrobe for him as he wears 9-12month clothes now..
and the extra expenses have left us a little short financially, which is the reason I must
sacrifice this beautiful ring.
This ring was originally purchased
from Al Shaw Jewelers for $4,800.00 (yes, I know way too much for only a 1/2). It really is a
beautiful ring. Very nice quality and very eye clean VS1. And, as
you can see by the comparison pictures of this ring and my own
engagement ring(the square one) it is a much nicer quality than my own ring.
My own engagement ring
is a J SI1 and as you can see a good ways from colorless. I took
these pictures of comparison so you will have something to compare
it to in the same "scale" of the pictures.
