"No matter how fast or sophisticated our technologies become, the key to learning is knowing where to find the answers." Boomspeed User Email 04/28/2001

What types of files can be uploaded? - You can upload any types of image, html and midi files you want. Image files SHOULD NOT contain spaces in the file name or they may not work. That is the most common mistake anyone makes. File names with spaces in them do not work with all web browsers. Keep in mind that file names are case sensitive as well.

How do I upload a file? - To upload a file it must be on your computers hard drive or a disk. Go to your login page and select any of the BROWSE buttons. Then select ALL file types. Locate your file on your hard drive or disk and click upload. That will put your file on Boomspeed. You can then click on your file name (do not use spaces in the file name) and it will open your file under a new window. The location is your URL of your file.

How do I link my images to my auction? - If you are using eBay, when you are filling out the SELL page, there is an area that asks you for your URL (the location of your image). You will use the URL which will be something like http://www.boomspeed.com/yourname/imagename.jpg
The URL can be found by clicking on the file name in your login page. It will open a new window with your image and the location is the URL of your image. You can copy and paste.

My image file will not load? - Only .JPG and .GIF images are supported on the Internet. If you have uploaded a .GIF or .JPG image and it will not load, you may have spaces in the file name. File names can not have spaces. Also, URL's are case sensitive. So if your file ends with a capital .JPG it will not work if you type in a lower case .jpg
